I went for a quiet getaway with my partner and was pleased to find our room clean and the bed comfortable. We decided to enjoy a meal in the restaurant, but my dish had to be sent back due to being hard. The location provided a lovely view from our window.

I had such a fantastic stay! The room was really cozy with a lovely view over the harbour, and the evening meal I had in the pub was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was despite being above a lively bar. Would absolutely stay again!

Can't recommend highly enough for a flying visit
Beautifully appointed, clean room with a view onto the harbour and boatyard, compact accommodation but had everything we needed including a friendly and very helpful staff who dealt with our check-in issue professionally with a complimentary drink offered while we waited.
Everything was amazing.

Comfortable stay but with a few hiccups
Our stay was enjoyable. The large shower was a highlight, though we faced a few challenges like empty fridge and hot water issues. The location offers easy access to local attractions, but if quiet is a priority, consider checking room placement relative to the bar area.

we had a lovely stay at the lugger. it’s right next to the quay where the fowey-polruan ferry arrives, making it super convenient. our deluxe king room offered a fantastic view over the harbour, and the bed was oh-so-comfy! the evening meal was delicious, and the service from the barman was exceptional—he was always smiling and ready to help.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I had an absolutely delightful one-night stay! The room was a cozy haven, tastefully decorated with a gorgeous view overlooking the harbour and the busy boathouse. The pausing moment of sipping drinks on the quay as the sun set was pure bliss.
100% recommend ❤️😍

wouldn't hesitate to stay there again
We stayed for 1 night in a deluxe king room with a great view over the harbour. The room was super clean, had an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. The food, especially the evening meal, was delicious. The location by the quay made catching the ferry really easy. Great place for a peaceful getaway!

Amazing views and comfy stay!
We spent 2 nights in the Deluxe King Room and absolutely loved it! The room was super comfy, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. The coffee facilities were a nice touch, and the breakfast? Yum! Only thing was the bar area could be a bit crowded at times, but it was all good overall.

had a lovely one night stay at the lugger inn. the room was comfy n clean, with a great view of the harbor. staff were super nice and helped us out when we had a check-in issue, even with a free drink. enjoyed hangin out in the pub too, really nice vibe, and can take drinks out by the quay.
parking's a bit of a pain, limited spaces near the inn, and you gotta climb uphill for public parking. also, rooms are right above a busy pub, so not ideal for an early night.

The Deluxe King Room offered a clean, stylish ambiance with a nice view of the river, enhancing our stay. the bar and restaurant had a good selection of local fish and other drinks, which were enjoyable. the lack of an inclusive breakfast at £15 felt a bit steep, and although the staff were generally polite, there were moments when service could have been more attentive.

Fantastic views and cozy atmosphere
I had a lovely one-night stay, and our Deluxe King Room offered a stunning view over the harbour. The room was compact but beautifully appointed, offering everything we needed for comfort. The friendly staff went above and beyond, even providing a complimentary drink while we checked in. I wish the check-in process itself had been smoother.

The Deluxe King Room featured a lovely view, comfortable bed, and a nice shower—ideal for relaxation. The atmosphere was peaceful, providing a perfect escape from daily life. Polruan's gorgeous scenery is worth exploring on foot. however, the limited activities in the area might disappoint those seeking entertainment. Service was friendly which enhanced the overall vibe.
